One of the greatest obstacles to adoption can often be finances – it’s an expensive undertaking that can cause fear for interested families. To help, Emmaus Church has partnered with Promise686 to support families caring for orphans and vulnerable children
Emmaus and Promise partner to provide three different types of grants:
- Matching Grants: This is the best way to raise the most money for your adoption process! Apply at the beginning of your adoption journey, and Emmaus Church and Promise686 donors can match your fundraising efforts.
- Legal Grants: These grants apply specifically to legal fees incurred during the adoption process.
- Support Grants: These grants provide umbrella support for the variety of needs that you may encounter on your adoption or foster care journey. Promise686 will first help you connect with any community partners that might can assist with your need. If none exists, we can then provide financial support.
We do not believe that finances should ever be the barrier that prevents a family from caring for a vulnerable child!
Please apply through Promise686 below. Any adoptive or fostering family who is a covenant member of Emmaus Church can apply.
Is your family fostering or has your family recently finalized an adoption? Would you benefit from a Care Community, a group from the Emmaus family who can come around a support you? We would love to connect you with the support you need!
