Mission Uganda 2025

We will have a team returning to Uganda in September 2025 to support the community of Kyenjojo & Kaihura through medical teams, teacher support, and pastors training.

Making Disciples in Uganda

Back in 2014, Emmaus Church began a global-missions partnership with Kaihura, a rural village in Western Uganda. Kaihura is a small but beautiful community, filled with incredible people that we have cherished the opportunity to work with as we seek to make disciples and build healthy churches among all peoples of the earth. Below you will find more information on our partnership, priorities, previous ministry projects, and ways that you can get involved! For more information, email Pastor Brad

Our Priorities

Gospel Clarity

The central message of our faith is The Gospel - that Jesus Christ came to provide a perfect atonement on the cross to reconcile us with God, and through faith in Him, we can be forgiven of all sin. All our work in Uganda seeks to proclaim and protect this glorious good news.

Pastor Training

Strong churches grow and flourish around faithful pastors. Knowing this, we seek to train and equip local pastors in Biblical doctrine for faithful ministry. We are working to establish and strengthen enduring faithfulness to God's Word among the church leaders of Uganda.

Orphan Care

Amidst many challenges, there is a great need for the faithful care of orphans and vulnerable children in Kaihura, Uganda. Partnering with Noah's Arc Children's Home, we work to love and care for these children, sponsoring them to provide food, clothing, and education.

Making Disciples

In all of our work, we want to make disciples of Jesus. We send teams regularly to Uganda to work in the local schools, homes, and orphanages of Kaihura Uganda - sharing the love and truth of Jesus with this beautiful community. We go to make disciples, and we grow as disciples along the way.
