Without any question, the age of the puritans left behind one of the richest legacies of theology, piety, and worship that the English world has ever known. In this class, we will explore the Puritan Movement and the lasting influence it had upon the church, the United Kingdom, and even the founding of America. Join us as we study important figures like John Owen, Thomas Goodwin, Jonathan Edwards, and more!

About the Teachers

Brian Bone serves as the Pastor of Discipleship at Emmaus Church. He and his wife Lauren have three children - Emmy, Hudson, and Ella - and a sweet goldendoodle named Lewis. He enjoys reading, hiking, mountain biking, the Braves, and the Dawgs.

Jacob Cohen serves as the Associate Minister for Discipleship at Emmaus Church. He's also working on completing his MDiv from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He’s recently married his wonderful wife Danielle (Dani) back in August. Jacob loves reading the puritans, nerds out on theology, and is a massive Braves fan.
